You’re not fighting. You’re not unhappy. You also can’t remember the last real conversation that wasn’t logistics. The two of you are roommates who happen to share kids, finances, and a bed. Things are fine, technically. They’re also far away from what they used to be, and you can both feel it.

The hard part is that nothing is wrong enough to fix. Couples therapy feels like overkill. Date nights help for a week. Talking about it usually gets nowhere because the conversation about why the conversation is hard is itself hard.

The Relationship Repair Lab is built for exactly this gap: a structured 12-week program that gives long-term couples the prompts, exercises, and weekly cadence to actually do the work — without making it feel like crisis management.

Important: This is structured psychoeducation for non-crisis couples. It is not couples therapy and not a substitute for it. If your relationship involves abuse, untreated addiction, or active infidelity, please work with a licensed couples therapist. This program complements professional care; it does not replace it.

Three four-week phases. Weekly conversations, exercises, and check-ins.

PHASE 01 — WEEKS 1–4

Reconnect

Where you actually are, without the lawyer voice. Structured weekly conversations that surface what’s been quietly unsaid. The goal is honest baseline, not change yet.

PHASE 02 — WEEKS 5–8

Repair

The patterns that have built up over years. Naming them, dismantling them, replacing them. Real exercises, not platitudes. By week eight most couples report a noticeable shift.

PHASE 03 — WEEKS 9–12

Rebuild

The new operating cadence — weekly, monthly, annual rituals that keep you connected without a program telling you to. By week 12 you have a relationship maintenance system you can hold for years.

You and your partner do the program together — a single enrollment covers both of you. Weekly conversations are at home, on your time. Optional monthly group call (other couples) for couples who want it.

Application required. We screen for fit. If accepted, both partners attend a 20-minute fit call before payment.

Frequently asked.

Is this couples therapy?
No. Couples therapy is one-on-one professional care delivered by a licensed therapist. The Lab is a structured 12-week program for non-crisis couples. They work well together; if you need therapy, please get therapy.
My partner isn’t sure they want to do this.
That’s normal. The fit call is part of the screen. We’d rather both of you attend the call (no pressure) and decide together than enroll one partner who’s pulling the other along. Half-in doesn’t work for this.
How much weekly time?
About 60–90 minutes per week, broken across two sessions. Most couples do one weeknight conversation and one weekend exercise.
Refund policy?
Full refund through the end of week two. After that, no refunds — the program design depends on committed enrollment. Defer to a future cohort is always available.
My relationship has abuse / addiction / active infidelity. Should I do this?
No. This program is not designed for crisis or active harm. Please work with a licensed couples therapist or, where appropriate, individual therapy. We’d rather refer you to the right help than take your money.
