Description
Habit Formation & Behavior Change Science is a self-paced course with 5 modules and 15 core lessons, plus welcome and closing lessons.
Course Modules
- Module 1: The Science of Habits โ Before you change a habit, you need an accurate model of what a habit is. This module replaces โI just need more willpowerโ with a working understanding of automaticity, the habit loop, and a realistic timeline for change.
- Module 2: Small Changes, Compound Results โ The size of a habit matters more than its ambition. This module explains why small behaviors beat big ones, how small gains compound, and how to choose the one habit worth your attention first.
- Module 3: Cue Design and Environment โ Habits are triggered by context, so the most powerful changes happen before the behavior: in how you plan the cue and set up your surroundings. This module covers implementation intentions, environment design and habit stacking.
- Module 4: Breaking Bad Habits Through Identity โ Breaking a habit is not the reverse of building one. You canโt simply unlearn a cueโbehavior link. You have to weaken it, reroute it and outgrow it. This module shows you how, and why lasting change usually comes with a change in how you see yourself.
- Module 5: Tracking, Recovery and Maintenance โ A habit that only survives perfect conditions isnโt finished. This final module gives you the tools to measure progress, get back on track after missed days, and maintain and expand your habits over the long run.
