You’ve done the deep work. You’ve connected with your life purpose, named your core values, looked honestly at what’s been holding you back, and designed a vision for your life with a plan to move toward it. This closing lesson brings it all together and helps you keep it going.
Your life design on one page
Gather your key insights into a single page you can keep close:
- My WHY: your purpose statement, refined.
- My five core values: each with a one-line definition.
- The belief I’m changing: your old belief and your new one.
- My vision: two or three sentences that capture the life you’re designing.
- My focus areas and 90-day goals.
- My next intentional choice.
The final worksheet in your workbook is laid out for this. Many people keep it on their desk, in their journal or as a photo on their phone.
Revisit your starting point
Go back to what you wrote in the Welcome lesson. Read it slowly. What has shifted in how you see yourself, your purpose and your life? What feels clearer? Write a short note to yourself about what you’ve learned.
Keeping your design alive
A life by design isn’t something you finish. It’s a practice. A few habits help:
- Weekly: your 20-minute design review.
- Every 90 days: review your goals, celebrate progress, and choose your next focus areas.
- Once a year: revisit your purpose statement, core values and vision. Update them as you grow.
When you drift
You will drift sometimes. Life gets busy, old beliefs resurface and plans fall apart. That’s part of the process, not proof that it didn’t work. When you notice you’ve drifted, return to your one page, ask “What is one intentional choice I can make today?”, and make it.
A deeper connection with yourself
The real result of this work isn’t a perfect plan. It’s a deeper connection with yourself, a heightened awareness of what matters to you, and a clearly defined WHY you can return to whenever you need direction. With those in place, you can picture the life you want, and then consciously and intentionally make the choices that bring it to life.
Thank you for doing this work. Come back to these lessons whenever you need them.
